السلام عليكم

I’m taking Intro to International Relations this semester and I’ve been reading a lot of academic texts on the theoretical aspect of the field. It’s made me realize that 1) I don’t know shit, 2) we criticize the policies and actions (or lack thereof) that politicians and governments make without seeing the whole picture of the situation at hand, 3) international politics = war.

Yaaaay, this is what I want to study for the rest of my life; wooohoooo!

Classes start tomorrow. I only have Arabic which doesn’t start until 3:35 but I want to be on campus early (by 10ish). Can’t fall asleep. Hungry. Sort of excited (idk why, I think I just miss being around lots of people and the energy of campus). Yay!

Got my textbook for Global Economics in the mail today and started studying!

I also got my (25 page) syllabus for Intro to International Relations. This professor is so tough and there are average 100 pages of reading a week, but I am SO excited! I know its going to be so much work, but at the same time so rewarding!
